Negotiate for a hospitality suite on each floor (or every second floor)
booked for the event’s attendees. It is a good way to build relationships
and facilitates idea exchanges for attendees. To keep costs down (if
the hotel will not provide this without charge) have a scheduled cocktail
time, and then provide coffee and snack service. At some events, a VIP
suite reserved for upper management and important clients may further
the organizer’s objectives. Depending on corporate culture, care
should be taken that this service is handled in such a way that other
attendees do not become resentful.
