The amount of parking space needed will depend firstly on the number
of guests expected. Then variables such as time of day, city center
versus outskirts, local and non local guests, spouses attending, etc.,
will come into play. A day time event, with attendance drawn from one
company, or a few companies, may well see car-pooling and public
transit used, and requires fewer parking spaces. An early evening
speaker/dinner event that spouses are invited can easily see each guest
arriving in a car, as people will be coming directly from work, requiring
as much as a ninety percent ratio of parking spaces to guests.
