Attached Location Parking
|
A location that has sufficient parking spaces for the estimated parking
needs of the event is ideal. A convention
center or auditorium will usually have generous parking, but check to
see if the lot can be closed to the general public during the event,
if heavy parking needs are anticipated. Hotels
may have enough parking, but, if the event
is only renting meeting space and not accommodation,
regular guests may fill the lot. If parking is an important adjunct
to the event, try and negotiate reserved spaces in the booking contract,
especially if other nearby events will be competing for parking.
