The venue contract should specify if power is included in the rental
or if it is a separate line item. Some venues may not have enough power
on site to meet the needs of the event, especially when extra lighting,
sound, and other staging
equipment is used. In that case, it will be necessary to arrange
for generators to provide extra power. There will be a rental cost and,
often, a cost for the fuel that provides the generators’ electricity.
