Technical needs will vary according to the event. Occasionally, some
venues even include basic equipment in the rental fee. But most of the
time, it will be necessary to bring in some sound, lighting, projection,
etc., equipment
to the venue. These rentals can take up a fair bit of the budget, especially
as it is often necessary to hire special technicians to set up and run
the equipment. In the case of projection equipment, the rental is high
enough that, if the organization holds many similar events, it may be
a worthwhile investment to purchase a projector and even a screen.
