Budget (Equipment Rental & Labour)

It is important to include all the costs associated with the technical
aspects of an event. They can include equipment
rental, labour (roadies, set-up, technicians), insurance,
extra square footage and extended time rental
at the venue for set-up and take-down, décor props, power,
gas or diesel (if generators are necessary), and licensing fees. It
is a good idea to build in a 10% cost overrun factor into the technical
budget, to allow for minor damages or the technicians’ overtime.
