These venues work for small and medium events that want to offer a
memorable experience. As with hotels
and restaurants,
they will usually have furniture, linens, tableware and staffing costs
included in the food & beverage bill. An evening river or harbor
cruise with dinner and entertainment can provide a memorable fundraiser,
staff recognition night, or product launch.
Potential problems with aquatic venues can include weather,
size, and seasickness. Depending on insurance issues, it may be a good
idea to have some anti-seasickness medication on hand.
