If the event is family friendly, an amusement
park can be a novel venue that keeps spouses and children entertained.
They are successful venues for fundraisers, team-building/recognition
retreats, sales staff training seminars, weddings,
school and family
reunions, et cetera. Many theme parks have hotels
on site, with varying price points; attendees can choose the degree
of luxury they prefer in their accommodations
but still have easy access to the networking,
training, awards dinner, etc., of the host organization.
They have similar amenities to conventional
hotels, and so the extra rentals for tables, chairs, display furniture,
linens, glassware, cutlery and the labor costs for set up and clean
up will usually be included in either the room rental or the food &
beverage bill. The more famous the park, the more likely it is to offer
the perk of inexpensive, accessible air transportation
from multiple cities.
