A private residence can be an intimate venue for small events, such
as employee appreciation, fundraising dinners or cocktail parties, team-building
days, et cetera. The home should be chosen for architectural uniqueness
or historic significance, rather than a lack of rental
cost. Film location companies can often provide a list of suitable private
residences that are available for rental.
Tables, chairs, linens, glassware, audiovisual
equipment, etc., will need to be rented from a party rental
company. A cleanup crew will be necessary and the event coordinator
will want to check the crew’s work before returning the key to
the owner. Parking and neighbors may be issues.
