Private clubs are usually luxurious spaces, often built in the 19th
or early 20th century, and furnished accordingly. They come with extremely
competent staff who are experienced in the art of providing a flawless
event. In order to use the club’s ballroom or dining facilities,
it is usually necessary that the reservation be done by a club member.
Private
celebrations and charity events are more likely to be looked upon
favorably than commercially oriented events, although there are exceptions,
based on the mandate and membership of the private club.
If the objectives of a small
to medium event
will be enhanced by providing an elite, traditionally luxurious venue,
a private club may be worth considering. The club will provide all staffing,
tables, chairs, linens, etc., within the pricing and may also include
valet parking and the coat check within the per guest price.
